Forge Pond Park has a soccer and softball field if you prefer participating in team sports. It also has a trail that leads around the perimeter of the park that’s perfect for jogging or walking.
If mountain biking is your sport of choice, head out to nearby Wompatuck State Park. It has challenging trails that excite even the most avid cyclist, but also has trails for beginners. If you enjoy rollerblading, the trails in this park are the perfect place to spend a couple of hours. This is also a favorite spot in the winter months for skiers and folks who adore testing their skills on snowmobiles. Golf is also available at the Black Rock Country Club in nearby Hingham.
